My experience in IS 101 was very positive. I did have a hard time with time management throughout the semester. I did find myself falling behind many times but I would find a way to catch up. What I enjoyed the most was learning as well as understand the material. Even if I had previous knowledge in computers like using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. There were many tools and functions of each programs that I did not know of. Especially Microsoft Excel, it was a a program I had no previous experience in but I was able to learn its functions and understand it. I will definitely be using skills that I learned in IS 101 outside of the classroom either in other College classes or a job settings. I am very thankful for Professor Wu who made IS 101 a much more enjoyable experience he was a very helpful all semester. He not only thought the material but helped me understand everything during the semester.
I very much enjoyed the presentation on the 7 Wonders of the World. I had not made a PowerPoint since middle school. I do enjoy them even though they can be tedious. I am glad I was able to learn my weaknesses in presenting a slideshow. For example, I need to keep in mind my volume when presenting I should not have anyone in the audience having difficulties hearing my presentation. I also would like to work with better interaction with the audience not just breeze right through my presentation. I would like to ask questions through the slideshow and leave more of an impact to the audience. Overall, I did enjoy the presentation assignment but have much to work on.
